Balance Exercises

Improve your stability and confidence with simple balance exercises you can do at home.

Balance plays a vital role in helping you stay steady on your feet — especially as you age. These exercises are designed to gently challenge and improve your balance, which can help reduce your risk of falling and support your independence.

You don’t need any special equipment, but it’s a good idea to do these exercises near a wall, kitchen counter, or sturdy chair for support if you need it.

Before You Start

  • Wear comfortable, supportive footwear
  • Have a glass of water nearby
  • Choose a safe space with no trip hazards
  • Start slowly and gradually build up over time
  • Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell
